Who I Am

I’ve been a knitter for over twenty years, but since 2023 I have picked up nearly every other fiber arts known to man. Spinning, weaving, dyeing, & lace making to name a few. And I love to tell the world about fiber arts. I have a YouTube channel (that you should go subscribe to) where I chat about what I’m working on and what upcoming project plans I have.

I started instructing knitting in 2024 at Spry Whimsy Fiber Arts and absolutely fell in love. Guiding students through their projects and watching their confidence grow has been so exciting. I have more classes in the works surrounding colorwork and color theory, sock construction, and garment modification that I cannot wait to share! I hope to continue expanding my reach through online instruction in addition to my in person classes.

Beginning in the fall of 2025, I accepted a board position as Chairperson of Advertising and Vendor Coordination. Remember when I said I love talking about fiber arts? This position grants me the unique opportunity to connect local businesses with local crafters through advertising in our monthly guild newsletters and vending at our guild meetings and retreats.
